Hey, J-Bird_MD11, are you still ALIVE ? Where are you now ? KIX ? Better go to the airport to buy a ticket for yourself & your family so that you guys can leave the dangerous place for a while.

    Sorry, .

  • Typhoon Chaba slams Japan: makes landfall 3 times

Typhoon Chaba is slamming Japan, causing torrential rains and mudslides across the island.

The category 5 typhoon reduced to category 2 after making landfall nearly 3 times and is preparing to make landfall once again in Hokkaido.

The storm continues to move faster, currently 65KPH (40MPH). The speed was only 3MPH when it was still floating on the Pacific.

The storm already caused major damages:

-13 Buildings burnt down in amai-O-shima due to fire, which the storm's gusty wind helped the damage
-289 houses suffered floods in Kagoshima
    -5 Dead, 30 Injured
    -3000 evacuated in Fukuoka
-250000 customers out of power in Kyushu
    -Record rainfall recorded (110mm/1hr)

Parts of Shinkansen and more then 200+ flights suspended
