I'm not sure about this but my cousin told me that he comes out to give some advices sometime but the current Prime Minister of Malaysia > Datuk Seri Abdullah Badawi just seems to keep ignoring him .

    Eddie, what is 'Barisan Nasional'?
It's the name of a party, the party that is controlling Malaysia now.

But I doubt the politicians in Malaysia will bring Mahathir to court as they think he is an achiever.
He will bring together with his guilt seven feet below ground

Not sure if the Malay majority party (UMNO?) will welcome Anwar's return.
Or the alternative is to join his wife in the National Justice Party of Malaysia (****, I forgot the name in Malay)
It's called "Keadilan". There is a rumour that "Keadilan" might merges with "Barisan Nasional" in the near future. That's what my Malaysian counsin told me.

All those acusations are false and I believe it was masterminded by Mahathir.
The Malaysian former Prime Minister > Tun Mahathir Mohamad told the media that : I STILL BELIEVE HE IS GUILTY

Heard he is going to Germany to undertake a surgery with a private jet provided by the Saudi government and he cannot appear in politicial scene for another 5 years. Seems that he still has friends in high places.
Yeah & he also didn't denies the possibilities that he might joins back UMNO when he is fully recovered. I think Mahathir aka MATI is in pressure now & the biggest mistake he has made was resigned as the 4th Prime Minister of Malaysia .

    Court Frees Anwar

In a 2-1 decision, the country highest court yesterday set former deputy prime minister Anwar Ibrahim free after quashing his sodomy conviction. Also freed was his adopted brother Sukma Darmawan Sasmitaat Madja who had been convicted of the same offense.

A three-man federal court bench - consisting of Abdul Hamid Mohamad, Rahmah Hussein & Tengku Bahharudin Shah Tengku Mahmud - delivered the stunning decision today at Putrajaya's spanking new palace of justice.

Justice Abdul Hamid said that the high court had misdirected itself in convicting and sentencng Anwar. He also said that the prosecution's main witness Azizan Abu Bakar was uncorroborated.

"We're are not saying Azizan is an outright liar but she certainly not that kind of witness the lower court said him be," said Abdul Hamid.

"He cannot be credible as he had given 3 different dates involving 3 different years (on when the alleged act of Sodomy took place).

He added that Azizan was accomplice to the alleged act because there was no evidence of protest.

Tengku Baharudin was also in favour of Anwar, whole Rahmah dissented.

    NO DEAL

Anwar, upon hearing the judgement, gave his family and reportes a tired smile.

Later, he thanked Prime Minister > Abdullah Ahmad Badawi (Pak Lah) for not interfering in the judiciary, unlike his predecessor Dr Mahathir Mohamad.

Anwar also brushed aside rumours of a secret deal with "Pak Lah" which resulted in today's decision.

Meanwhile outside the court, Anwar's supporters were seen hugging & shouting in jubilation.

They had been waiting outside the court building since early this morning, & reacted with joy & jubilation. A small number of police personnel kept a watchful eye on the crowd.

The 57-year-old ex-politician had arrived at 8.45am & was taken to into the courtroom in a wheelchair. He came in an ambulance from Hospital Kuala Lumpur where he had been warded since July 12 due to chronic back ailment which had worsen in recent weeks.

The former Malaysia Deputy Prime Minister hopes to fly to Munich tomorrow.
Kuala Lumpur > Bangkok > Riyadh > Munich
He (Anwar) will flies on the Saudi Royal Family private jet to Munich from Riyadh.

Any idea what kind of private jet does the Saudi Royal Family have ?
