I thought I'd share with you some of my latest pics from my holiday in France.

The afternoon scene on Cavalair Beach.




Beautiful sunset, with an old castle in the distance. Taken from the local Go-Karting track.

Thanks for your nice pics, good to see you enjoyed your holiday along Var (tag number 83) shoreline ....the exact spelling of the last location is Sainte-Maxime (full name Sainte-Maxime sur Mer) My parents have their house in 9 km away Plan de la Tour ....Close to a major roundabout, (another Var's importated speciality ) the Theme Park is near the area where there was Fréjus-Saint Raphael airport runway.

Thanks for noticing the spelling mistake uy707. I didn't notice an airport in Fréjus-Saint Raphael. The only one I knew of in that area was La Mole, in St.Tropez.

Fréjus airport was closed to trafic in 1990, it was located next to the naval aviation chopper base, also closed (I guess). Air Inter operated summer seasonnal services, first with their Fokker 27s. and then by contracting a Brit'Air ATR42.

Dale we were in the same places! When were you there? I was there I think the first two weeks of August. I stayed in Agay (near St. Raphael), and went to St. Maxime, Cannes, St. Tropez and Nice. And I think I was at that theam park! Was it called Luna Park and on the way to St. Tropez? Well if it was then I was there.

Nice Pics! Too bad i didnt bring my camera I could have taken good pics of the departures from Cannes right from the beach Im definatley taking my camera next time.

Cool 777 Skipper I was there in the last two weeks of August. Meaning I wasn't there the same time as you, but we went to the same places. Yeah the 8 second exposure shot is of Luna Park, on the way to St.Tropez.
