I think the same goes for capitalism - if everything was left to the laws of market, without any intervention from governments, anarchy would take over this planet in no time.

that is true, but capitalism is closer to working than comunism is, though of course its not even close to perfect.

Agreed, since capitalism factors in that many people want to have more, more and more only for themselves, whereas communism "thinks" (like a theory could do that kind of thing) that everyone wants to work and be part of a close-knit and socially equal community... which almost nobody does.

correct. that's why no country can (or has not been able to till now) survive as a purely laissez-faire economy.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Right you are. Freer economies are more efficient, but there's still the issue of externalities which must be regulated by the government because the market would never satisfy society's needs (e.g pollution, education).

What if the Communist Party officially endorsed Southwest Airlines? (Come to think of it, that would almost be plausible, as SWA offers ONE class that EVERYONE can afford. Not to mention a homogenous fleet of aircraft, without all of that decadent luxury...)

But perhaps my theory is Reductio ad Absurdum considering we're takling about a Texas-based Airline.

First of all, it has to seize the power and then nationalize everything around and then ultimately pick up WN as the flag and sole-and only airline around.
                Fortunately, not feasible.
