Recently heard a tornado severly hit the German coastline. Intensity was unseen in Europe, ever.

Something about Germany for you to know. We have a weather god, and he is called "Petrus". Also, while we don't get hurricanes, we do get major storms here in Hamburg and vicinity, which tend to flood parts of the port, crack down trees, and rip the roofs of houses. Also, in the past two years we've seen asignificant increase in tornados, one of which destroyed an entire village! So be careful with what you say about the German weather .
True, Europe has a few tornadoes, but they are rare and don't have the same intensity of US tornadoes.

The tornado with the highest windspeed ever recorded (318 mph/512 km/hour ) hit the Oklahoma City area on May 3, 1999. The damage was extreme-

Note the board impaled through the car door...

        Oklahoma and Cleveland Counties
        Homes destroyed: 1,780.
        Homes damaged: 6,550.
        Apartments destroyed: 473.
        Apartments damaged: 568.
        Businesses destroyed: 85.
        Businesses damaged: 42.
        Churches destroyed: 3.
        Schools destroyed: 2.

Not yet, true, but besides the fact that their appearances have increased, their power has increased too. Like I said, earlier this year a tornado destroyed a village. Luckily, no people were killed, but meterologists are concerned about the tornados, and I'm afraid they're right in their concern.
