    Next to Eastern and Central Europe, GM has decided to remove the Daewoo brand in the Western European markets. Cars will go on being developped and manufactured in South Korea. GM reported the Chevrolet brand name to be more convincing. Altogether, those Chevys will be used as entry level products. On a later stage, GM plans adding models produced from other sites than Daewoo's to developp a real range.
    The story doesn't state wether these will be Australian-born Holdens

    What do you expect, Chevrolet is a French name. Named after the 1920 Indy 500 Champion Gaston Chevrolet.

      Also Swiss, Louis Chevrolet who set up the company in 1905 moved from Geneva.
