  • What to do when you can't sleep part 2, *witty title here*

Note to self, sleeping until 3pm on a sunday is bad. Well, any ideas?

  • #2
Take some melatonin, its not like other sleeping pills that just knock you out, it sends a message to your brain that you are tried, it even works after you eat a bunch of sugar (I personally tested that) and you wont feel like crap the next morning.

Is it? Depends on what you've been doing the night before! Anyway, if you want to sleep, get the HELL away from your computer and especially this forum. Almost nothing leaves me awake like reading and posting in an internet forum. In addition to that, the more active (both physically and mentally) you are during the day, the better you will sleep.

That's funny, staring at a Computer or TV screen always makes me sleepy. Even when I was little I used to play Tetris before bedtime to make me tired.

I dunno, these forums have bored the hell outta me lately. I probably should start running again though.

Err, okay. I'm also a forum member at "the other site", and what I said about staying away from forums is mostly based on that forum... quite true, this one has been a bit slow lately.

How about fixing yourself a big snack...whenever I eat, I get very sleepy.

actually I really dont drink very often. Since turning 21 I've only had one beer, and thats obviously not enough to do anything. Last time I was drunk was probably when I was in Shanghai in May. Now that was a good time.

Just a guess on my part. You are a college student...

Seriously though, good for you. Its good to know that not everyone is overly dependant on alcohol these days.

                        Listen to music!

I usually fall asleep to the sounds of Alt Rock, Prog Rock, and Emo.

                        Unusual? It's just me. :P

Actually I just got it out of my system when I lived in Germany during high school. Just ceased to be a big deal, though I'll still have a few every now and then, there's things I'd rather do.
