        Just coming to mind, but pretty more than a local than a worldwide celeb
        Pierre Arditi and Francis Huster, TV/Movie actors who feature on every hertzian channel either private or state-owned !!! Interestingly, Pierre Arditi is an avowed socialist. No there was no street fighting with Le Pen, they make sure they avoid each other by changing the itinerary among others

          - Susana Giménez
          - Mirtha Legrand
          - Graciela Borges
          - Eduardo Constantini (the owner of Malba Museum)
          - Carlos Bianchi (Boca Juniors coach)
          - Diego Maradona lived here for a couple of years

                    I was in Lynchburg once and we stopped to eat at Applebee's, and there he was two booths down!

                    We have a ton of sports stars from here, including Allen Iverson, Micheal Vick, Aaron Brooks, Alonzo Morning, and Laurance Taylor just to name a few.

                        Ovie Mughelli (he plays for the Baltimore Ravens) went to my high school and was really good friends with my brother.

                        The CEO of Citybank (who is actually a cousin) is from Charleston.
