    Looks like Ivan is back, and he's heading for Texas.

        His remnants made a loop and came back out over the Gulf of Mexico a few days ago.

          A cold front captured and dragged Ivan's low pressure back into the Gulf of Mexico. Looks like Ivan will be coming to pay me a visit in the new few days which is good. We need some rain.

                Actually its pretty funny. No one can agree if it is ivan or not. If you look at the sat loops its not ivan. But basically its a low pressure system that was able to form in the distruction of the ridge caused by ivan thus they give "credit" to it. But the moisture is actually from Jeanne.

                  That is just to strange, the left overs from Ivan came through here on Sat and now its back in the Gulf??? Very interesting how weather works....

                      LOL, I didn't know if they'd still call it Ivan. I guess they figured the disturbance was part of Ivan, or a result of Ivan.

                      This happens in the middle of the ocean sometimes when a storm weakens to just a tropical low but strengthens again later on. It's just unusual for a storm to do what Ivan did.
