    Howdy Mates,

Thought I'd make a thread to commemorate my 2000th post. Sure, its not like I'm all of a sudden superior to everyone.. hell, there are forums on the internet where people probably have 50,000 plus posts!

Anyways, I just want to reflect on my experience at this site. I've said this to many people i've met through this site, and I'll tell all of you. This site has impacted my physical life in life altering ways! Tell me 5 years ago that a website will change my course of life.. and I wouldnt of believed you. Yet.. this website has done just that!

It's because of this site, that I discovered photography.. a new outlet for my emotions and feelings I would always keep bottled up inside previosly. I got my first picture accepted in June 2003.. just a month after I "joined" the forums. (began posting reguraly) Since then, I've contributed 444 more photos with many more to come in the future!

It was largely because of this site that decided to go to and "found my feet" at ERAU.... thanks to forum member, Mikecweb. It was because of this site that I've met some people that will become life long friends.. I just as any college friend/bestfriend one would see in everyday life. It was because of this site that I got to see the westcoast (LAX/LAS) by myself ... and not with my parents on some family vacation! It was because of this site I religiously spend 2-3 hours a day dedicating my time to Forum browsing/picture taking.. (Okay.. seriously ) This site has been a large deciding factor in who I am developing into as I progress through college toward "the working man."

I'm the one who hates reading long threads... so i'll stop here. But, thanks to everyone for making this site such a success! Especially the screeners and administration!

    2000 baby!

Adam Wright.. roughly about when I joined the site

Consider yourself treated to a fine German (virtual, as long as you don't travel over here) beer! Good to hear that you found another place you like after the e-mail you sent me on - wait - May 25th, 2003.

Thanks to this site I was finally able to "talk" with other people about aviation, without being looked at , laughed at , ignored , or hit in the face .
