anybody have an idea as to why exactly he left?

Whatever the reasons were, I enjoyed his posts and on most occasions I agreed with his oppinions. It's always good to have different oppinions represented in a discussion forum.

I don't like the faxt that aerpix is gone.
Maybe he was arguing to much on some topics.
But he had intersting posts to read and an interesting member of this site.AndyComment

hmmm I agree with Gerardo, I always enjoyed his pics ( especially the ones from the 70ies
) and posts.
and Joe I am sure he did not call Chris an ass without having a reason!
Anyway I´d like to know the reason for all this....

Why should he be let back?
All he did was spread hatred among us, spliting us into two groups and making us argue, yeah good for posts but not good for avation forums!
All he needed to calm down and not put his views out so strongly and he would have been fine.

Joe, I disagree with you. In fact I remember a few weeks back you were agreeing with most of what he was posting.
I don't think that we can accuse Aerpix of spreading hatred. I can certainly think of a lot of other people who have "spread hatred" in this forum. Aerpix had his opinions and for the most part backed them with arguments. Something that not everyone has taken the time to do.Comment

Yeah i admit i was agreeing with him a few weeks back and on his views i still do sometimes, but, he took his views to far, and so far and so untrue that i could no longer agree with him anymore.

I’ve really only actively participated for a few days. From the limited exposure I’ve had of Peter, it seemed that he had pretty strong opinions on certain issues. I can’t say I agree with most of them and I found him to make a lot of statements rather than backing his arguments up with facts.
Furthermore, he seemed to insult a few people, like Joejoe. Now, I don’t know all the rules of this forum, but I doubt that insulting other users is allowed here. It also shows a degree of immaturity that shouldn’t exist with someone his age.
Nonetheless, he made things interesting and I will miss him. But whatever reasons he had for leaving, we must accept them and move on. There will be other members here and some might even have as strong opinions as he. Maybe he will choose to come back after things after calmer heads prevail.
