Beijing denied to shut down entire city

Beijing Government today has officially denied that entire city will be shut down due to the massive outbreak of SARS.

This rumour started as text message from cell phones. Massive crowds went to the supermarket and pharmacy to buy and store foods and daily living needs.

There are at least 2000+ cases of SARS in China, with nearly 400 alone in Beijing.

Beijing mayor has been sacked last week for hiding the report.

This SARS stuff is really starting to creep me out. I live 3 hours from Toronto, and if somebody in our area gets it, I don't know what I'll do.
