Israel will probably take care of Iran, with our help. NK is very fragile; an invasion by us could lead its neighbors getting nuked. Plus, they know better than to try anything with us. They don't want to be turned into a radioactive parking lot!
North Korea wouldn't hesitate to fvck America over. America without using WMD would not win against NK. They have 1 Million soliders is it? plenty more people with pitch forks too.

Oh, and ever heard of MAD?
Mutually Assured Destruction. You fire a nuke, I'll fire a nuke. Neither country will survive, hence no war between nuclear armed states.

Honest question- how many jobs have been created during the Bush adminstration? (Subtracting the ones that have been lost)

Isn't it true that we've lost more jobs than gained? If that's so, I read a news article that said 40% of people surveyed said Bush would create jobs. I just want to know, WHY do they think that if he hasn't created them so far?

Ofcourse he'll create jobs. He will reinstate the draft and shove everybody into the military. There's a bulk of the unempoyment problem taken care of right there...

Really? For everything that has been in the news, the Dems are the ones that wanted to reinstate the draft. The G.O.P. shot it down in Congress and Bush said he would veto any bill that came to him about reinstating the draft.
              It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

We could probably win in a conventional war against NK, mainly because we have better equipment and better trained soldiers. Also, we would probably have a strong coalition of alllies. It would be a bloodbath, however.

Well, unless Japan, SK, and other Asian countries want mushroom clouds in their major cities, then they would be more than willing to help us out.

yeah, i see all these nuclear armed countries threatning to blow us off the face of the earth, your argument is stupid, i am quite sure that in my life i won't see nuclear weapons being used against us, and remember one thing, the only country to use them is yours!

and thats why bush won't invade, cos he knows the consequences are to great, if you think about it logically, if Saddam really had WMD's then would Bush have gone in so unprepared and with out any real plans, he knew all along that they had NO WMD's, it was more about revenge for his papa who was threatend by Saddam in the early 90's. any country invading a nuclear armed nation would do it alot better than what we've seen, mainly becasue of the threat posed.

Actually Herpa's got a point there. NK has a big nuclear arsenal that can be sent to anywhere in Japan or China, not to mention SK. USA even has a considerable amount of soldiers in South Korea. If the US ever went to war with NK (which I highly doubt), there would certainly be a big coalition of neighboring countries supporting the US.

That said, if Kim Jong-Il started real, non-hidden nuclear program, I believe the US could perfectly go to war with the international agreement. The problem in Iraq was there were no facts justifying the war. If the US does have real, credible facts, the world will support them.

That's what everybody thought before the US went to war in Iraq. Look how that turned out...Impressive coalition, isn't it...

Anyway, NK is a separate issue. Atleast with them we KNOW that they have nuclear weapons.

You got that right. Nevertheless, Iraq was not a big threat for neighboring countries' existance. It is known that during the Saddam era lots of "forbidden" products were imported through Syria, for instance. I bet Bashar Al-Assad (Syrian president) got along way better with Saddam than now with Bush. I don't even know if Iran is very happy with Iraq's invasion. They hated Saddam, but their relationship with the US is not great either.

North Korea's neighboring countries, like Japan or South Korea, would ally with the US just to save themselves. NK has the WMDs and the missiles to send them wherever they feel like it. Japan and SK need the US, since China and them are the only two countries able to fight against Kim Jong-Il in an eventual war.
