HELL YEAH my man!! The TJs are a nice Jeep. Im an owner of a 98 Sahara hardtop. I love it and it gets me anywhere I need to go. My whole family is full of Jeeps. My mom has an 04 KJ Sport (Liberty) and my dad has an 00 XJ Sport (Cherokee). I'm hoping to sell the piece of junk 1985 Toyota Supra I have to clear out space for possibly a 70s or 80s CJ. I'd really like a Commanche though. The other more likely possibility is getting a mid 90s Grand Cherokee.

Anyway, got any plans for your 01 TJ? I'm assuming it has a 5 spd and DANA 44, am I right? Did you get both tops or just the hardtop? Enough questions for now, just get out there and enjoy that 4WD machine!
          It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.

JJR i'm not having a grumble directly at you but, i feel that unless your a farmer or you toe heavy loads you should not be aloud to own a 4*4. look at the fuel consumption of a 4*4 enough to run 2 standard cars. Their so dangerous as well a head on with somebody on the road in a suitable car i know who will come off second best. Surely people realise that fuel is a finite source, and 4*4 don't really belong in the city?

I'm sorry i just think if people had a bit more respect for their planet and the people that live on it, only people would buy a 4*4 who actually need them practically as opposed to someone who buys 1 soley to boost their ego.

While most SUV's are used for nothing.. seems to me that people who own Jeeps, wranglers in particular, actualy take them offroading and to places where 4x4 is required. And.. i've ridden in wranglers.. and their cool as shite

Steve, Im not pointing any fingers at you, but not everyone in the world lives in a city..... we (my family) have over 150 acres of farmland just 15 miles from my appartment.... as for the jeep using a finate fuel??? look at jets man!!! they are getting better, but I put more fuel on 1 flight from albany to atlanta than I think my little jeep will "ever" use....(4,100 US Gallons DAL 727 man I miss the lil 3 holers!!!) I currently have just the wrangler, and my motorcycle on the road..as I use the older jeeps to just have as "field cars" If I remember correctly, you took up the same arguement against AEAGLE40 a few months back when he got his Sahara, and I was indeed halfway expecting a negitive input by you.... theres alot worse things going on then people driving wranglers..... I still get around 20 miles per gallon, and its not big like an H2 or even a fullsize pickup....
I feel like im a little kid, defending his new toy in a school yard, but I indeed see it from your point of view, and I hope you can meet us halfway, because I always "tread lightly" and If I ever saw you walking down the road in a rain storm Id stop and offer you a ride in my "gas guzzler".... the question is, would you be able to swallow enough pride to let yourself get in????
-Jeremiah (woah Im usin my real name!!!)
