Yeah, I think the setting provided both of them with a greater sense of comfort and ease, and you're right, they were talking more naturally.

Btw, I have to give Bush one thing - when he made that come back at Kerry regarding the timber company. It was hilarious. What was that about anyway - I'm sure Kerry wasn't just speaking from the top of his head on National TV, there must be something. Anybody want to shed some light?
ABC went in to that. I believe they said for some tax purpose, Bush claimed that he earned revenue from a co-owned timber company. So Kerry was correct.

Well ABC said that Bush claimed he co-owned it. So I don't know why Bush went so far to deny it.

This time around, Bush stood his ground, and though not by a big margin, I think he scored this debate.

But again, the "Progressive (AKA Socialist) Australian Brotherhood" (LR747, YBBN and Torin) may not agree with me...

BTW, did you guys cast your votes for the Socialist Alliance today??? Nah, John Howard will be re-elected, anyway!!!

I still don't understand why I'm accused of being a socialist.

But anyway, I think Bush could go nowhere but up from his previous performance, so of course you will say that he perfomed better this time.

Given that your accusing me of being a part of the far left, would I be wrong in accusing you of being a facist??

No I didn't vote today. Being out of the country and not wanting to drive for hours to get the signature of another Australian citizen to be able to cast a postal vote, led me not to.
