I agree 100% with Adam...most of the time when I check Wings it is something military...and if I'd happen to tune in when something interests me the vast majority of the time it is some old-as@ show I watched years ago.
Lately the National Geographic Channel has had a bunch of stuff on dealing with commercial aviation...mostly disasters, but oh well...
tonight I watched that show on the Aero Peru 757 that crashed because of duct tape over the pitots...

Here, too, show on civil aviation are SCARCE. And when they are, a high-density playload of intellectual crap is often the rule.

Exactly, Will EVERY Thursday for the past couples of years or so, they've played the same old 'Flightdeck' shows

I won't be suprised if anyone here can act out word-for-word, 'The Flight' featuring an AC763 from YYZ-FRA

Needs more commercial stuff. The only stuff that seems to get refreshed every couple years is "Airport" & the rest of the Commercial stuff is a bunch of reruns, as said above. There was a show on a few nights ago about AA's operations at DFW...that I watched 3 years ago. The show to watch if you want to see AA DC-10s & 727s in action, though.

                Discovery Wings...too much military aviation?

There are non-Military episodes ? Haven't seen any of them in Germany, but thanks to them, I know everything about US fighters from the '60s and '70s .

I have had Discovery Wings for years and have never seen that show. I watch it frequently, too.

GOD YES! There are way to many military shows. I really like Airport, and Learning to Fly though.

BTW> Anyone who has Comcast On Demand, There are a few aviation shows. Under the National Geographic on demand they have like a in depth look at the concorde and aviation stuff like that.
