  • Left Handed People

How many here are left handed? Leonardo da Vinci and Napoleon were lefties and there are many on TV and in the movies.

I'm a lefty, as is my wife and one of my daughters.

Not quite the response I was looking for. I believe 10% of the population right or left handed is gay.

Looks like lefties are an oppressed minority.

My brother is a lefty and I'm a righty. Bit of a problem at restaurants if we inadvertently sit with him to the right and me to the left, because then our hands keep hitting each other.

I'm a lefty but play right-handed golf. Here's a question, do any of you lefties angle your paper when you write so it's as if you're writing sideways/upside down? I do, it seems to fascinate so many people for some reason.

I'm a righty but I learned to play hockey lefthanded when I became a goalie so that I could catch with my left hand (already learned to do that playing baseball)

I'm left handed too, only when writing though. Two Dale's both left handed? Although when playing tennis, cricket, roller hockey, etc, I use my right hand...

Did it take you guys (the ones who have DSRLs)a while to get used to using your right hand? I bet it would be strange for me! (im righty)

Actually no, not for me, since the left hand still does alot of work supporting the body and lens, in addition to manual focusing on occasion. On my D70 it's easy to use my left thumb to change settings (WB, ISO, etc) without slowing me down.

It's kind of like playing a guitar. I play the guitar right-handed because the left hand is the one that does the work of making the chords. The right hand just picks and strums.

As with Joe, I play hockey left handed, but everything else I am right handed. I cant shoot worth shit right handed when playing hockey.
