    Thanks

Hartford is about mid-sized, not too big. However there is a major problem with crime. It was #7 I think on the most dangerous cities thing published a few weeks ago. There was a shooting this week where 2 kids go shot as a school bus stop and one who got shot actually got on the bus and went to school then went to the nurses office. They are trying to "revitalize" it and they improved the waterfront area but a greater part of the city (the parts that aren't down town) is in need help and nothing much is being done it seems. And then there was yesterday when I went to go take pics of the holiday lights and I was told I couldn't take pictures as I was setting up my stuff, totally rediculus. I wish they would take as much interest in helping the communities that need it as they do in making sure that people don't take photos in certain places.

These pics were actually taken in a park in the town across the river, nobody was around then so i had no problems.

I have a ton thanks to Cornell but here are some pics of Ithaca NY Downtown (Yuppie a Hilton is going to be built in Downtown and will be the 2nd tallest building in Ithaca at 15 stories )

Ithaca is surrounded by 4 hills (South, East, West, and North)

I was gonna post some pictures of Hartford and the holiday lights with my new lens. But when i went to take the pictures some asshole security peep told me that I wasn't allowed to take pictures because the plaza where I was was "privatly owned" even though it was a public place WTF
I think someone in a restaraunt near by might have seen me setting up my stuff and called the security though.... paranoid asshole morons

Land of the free, ya right

I am pretty pissed off right now....

I couldn't find any good pictures of Syracuse in the winter. Maybe because the city wants to attract people, not scare them away.

I haven't heard that story about the storage freezers, but I wouldn't doubt it.

I found one more (better) picture of Watertown, sans the snow...
