BCS is crap and so are most bowl games.
            NCAA needs a playoff system.

I think the tradition of the bowls needs to stay. If Cal and Auburn were in this year's BCS in place of Utah and Pittsburg most people would be happy. Remember that under the old system in place before the BCS, none of this year's unbeaten teams would be facing each other.

Playoffs just wouldn't work. Remember that these student athletes have to contend with final exams at the end of the semester. That just wouldn't fly. I think there should only be one more game beyond the bowl games the first week of January, and that it should only be played if it's necessary pending the outcome of the January Bowls.

actually, Auburn is in a BCS bowl. Second, Utah deserves the BCS slot. In fact, Utah would more than likely put up against any of the top 3.

IAA has a playoff system in place which seems to work pretty well. The reason why IA won't go to a playoff system, is $$$kaching$$$. Waaaay too much money in the bowl games.

By the way, woo hoo!!! Aggies in the Cotton Bowl.... Oh yeah!

I meant to say, "If Cal and Auburn were playing each other in this year's BCS..." They were the two teams screwed the most. But anyway, Utah doesn't deserve its BCS bid. They only played one team this year that is currently in the top-25. If they think they're that good, they should start to schedule some tougher opponents or join a major conference.
