Fluent in English, trying to built up Spanish, good in historical Greek, and a tiny bit of French.

yup, gotta love the bayrisch . I have a friend that grew up near Stuttgart, he was talking in German to his mom on the phone and I could hardly understand it because it was a different accent than I was used to.
Oh, "Schwäbisch", that's as bad as Bayuwarisch . That's the good thing about Germany: Each state has it's own specialised dialect.

Adam: I know what you mean about English and "English". I initially only learned American English, and once I started English in school, the teachers were always like "Stop usuing American English, this if British English" . But the best was Cambridge English. That's not even compareable to what Dale&others speak :P .

-Spanish as my first language, spoken at home, with family and Latin American friends.

-English as my second language. For business and education, primarily, and spoken with my American friends, of course.

-Portuguese, although it's more like "Portuñol" (indistinct use of Spanish and Portuguese).

-At one time, I took French and German courses, but I've largely forgotten to speak them.
