  • Tornado Outbreak

Just learned from MCIFLYR that 6 tornadoes ripped across the Kansas City area. Got a question for you MCIFLYR: where did the other ones touchdown? I'm curious as I'm a meteorology student at The University of Oklahoma. Also, if any of you guys know about any other tornadoes that struck any other cities/towns, please let me know. I know of one tornado that went through Joplin, Mo. Thanks, I appreciate it!

    Congratulations, Seattle!"

We have had some warning sfor Alexander County in Illinois, New Madrid, in MO, and SCott and Stoddard County also in MO. Those are some I know for sure.

            Re:

Thanks to who replied. This was a major tornado outbreak and came close to surpassing the the May 3rd, 1999 outbreak in which an F5 rorared through Moore, Ok, just 10 miles north of where I live. Anyway, hopefully, those folks can get back to rebuilding. About 67 tornadoes on last count. But there's more info coming on this as the days pass. I hope they find those buried in rubble alive.
