  • L.A. Airport Guards Against Missile Attacks

The whole thing is just basically where they are having more patrols on the ground and in the air with helicopters. One thing that I find amazing is this paragraph :

According to security experts, the airport has been targeted in five attacks or attempted attacks by terrorists over the last three decades.
I know of the New Year's Eve plot in 1999 but what were the other four attacks or attempted attacks.

Also here is the website: http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,141539,00.html

patrols and additional training to help authorities identify such weapons.
I hope that includes "photographers are not terrorists 101" as many "authoroties" can't seem figure that out for themselves.

As for the threat that they speak of, I think it's a load of BS. People are just waaaay over paranoid IMO, the terrorists have already done what they wanted to do... scare people. Thats the goal of terrorism, to scare people and mess stuff up and it's obviously working

And they would do it again in a heartbeat if they had the chance. People had your same attitude after the first WTC attacks; look what happened...
