What do you mean it's an original CD? if it is then it must be the second disc in the set, or there are more files, because there are no executables shown here. put in disc one and wait for the installer to call for this disc

Oh, you can also get IsoBuster and look inside the .CCD image to verify its contents.

Edit: With ISOBuster, you may be able to extract the files from the .CCD image to a temp dir and then install off your HD.

Edit Part 2: Theres some MS FS addons that also don't have the install files on the CD themselves, but a CD Image. I can't understand for the life me of WHY they would make a CD like that!

    Odd indeed!

Anyway, what I would do is one of two things. You can download CloneCD. After installing it, copy those files to a temporary directory on your HD. Then start CloneCD open the .CUE file with it and put it onto a cd. Then you should be able to install it.

    Or,

You can download a program like Daemon Tools that can create a virtual CD drive with that image and you can install it from there. (D-Tools will mess with some other games though. ie; any game with a recent version of SecuROM won't run while D-Tools is installed)

    Re: does anyone know...

    Thats odd Open

with a text editor (Notepad or whatever) and if its plain readable text, paste it here

If it looks similar to this:
    "
    FILE "ProTrain 2 Extra.ccd" BINARY
    TRACK 01 MODE1/2352
    INDEX 01 00:00:00
    "
Then you need to burn the file to a cd. Which would be odd!

Edit; not the file itself, but the image.

I haven't used CloneCD in a while, but as I remember:

Use the ".CUE" file (load it in your burning or mounting software), it contains the information regarding how the image
(the ".CCD" file) is to be burned. The ".SUB" file contains information for CloneCD regarding the Sub Channels for the image. The Sub Channel info is usually not needed unless you're trying to clone a commercially protected game (Safedisc/Securom).

It is not a .ZIP file, it is an .IMG file and the others go with it, it is a cloned CD image file. Fire up your favourite disc burning software and choose burn from image file and you will get a copy of the CD

Something is wrong with the file. I have gotten that before from downloads. I would usually just re-download the file.
