  • The Loot thread

Aight, now that Christmas has almost come and gone, the only question left is, "What did you get?"

My major gift was a 27 inch flat screen TV with Component and S-Video
Other gifts included the first book in the Series of Unfortunate Events, State of Fear by Michael Crichton, and a new coat.

    How about you guys?

Well, I don't celebrate Christmas, but my neighbors do. They gave me a prepaid American Express card...pretty cool!

For Chaukah, though...it was not traditionally a tradition to give presents. The only reason preasents are given on Chanukah is because it was close to Christmas.
                  I still get presents though:
                  I got:
                  Sim City 4
                  a Columbia Raincoat
a trip to NY from my uncle (well actually I'm using US Airways vouchers for the tickets, but he is paying for the hotel)
                  a puzzle
                  B & N gift cards
                  money
clothes (from Gap and Old Navy)

                  I done good

                        A sweater
                        A shirt
                        A hooded sweatshirt
Several books (A dirty joke book, one of the Uncle John's Bathroom Reader books, and 100 Years of Aviation)
                        A jar of pistachios
A Burt Bees travel grooming kit
A 16 pack of Mach 3 razor cartridges (I don't have to worry about running out of these for a long time!)
                        $50
A variety pack of liquor-flavored coffees (Sadly they're all non-alcoholic [at least until I get ready to drink them ])

                            Hmm ....

Well my father gave me a laser pointer.

My mom contributed $50 toward my new cell phone.

I got some money, etc. from other members of my family and friends.

My favorite, however, is what a bunch of my coworkers chipped in to get me ...

A year's supply of train/bus tickets to get me to work; basically they bought me a free commute for a year! Thanks guys!
