  • May: eclipse month!

    Has anyone seen the Mercury-transit today? That was only the beginning! On May 16 there is a total lunar eclipse, and on May 31 an annular solar eclipse.

      Wow guys, just have a look at this: Plane crosses sun during Mercury transit!
      I recommened the photographer who made this incredible shot to upload it to our database. Any ideas what plane that is on the photo?

                I will probably be still asleep during the eclipse tomorrow.
                I had bad luckin 1999 when we could watch the total sun eclipse fro our garden. It just turned dark and all I could see were clouds

                  Well, the eclipse is over, and incredible but true, my own father managed to make a shot of a plane crossing the sun, without even knowing it:
