why do you need help from the UN...? That is their sole mission in the world! Plus, it is no secret we would welcome splitting the cost. :P

No to attacking them or to having WMDs?

I think they said no to everything we suggested or asked of Iraq. Personally I don't care if there were WMD's or not. I believe those people suffered enough, and Saddam deserved to be overthown on that account alone. Now, our President may feel some heat if they don't find any, but I think given time, they will be found.

I knew the pathway like the back of my hand

There are WMDs. If I can remember correctly, were'nt you people all for giving the imspectors another 6 months to a year to find WMD? ANd now it has been a month and you are already calling this a failure.

It isn't very hard to hide WMD. Just dig a 10 foot hole in the desert, put your WMD in, fill it up, and there you go!

And then the weapons inspector comes along with a radiation detector and finds it. But so far he hasn't found it.

And who said anything about 6 months. As far as I remember we have been waiting for over 12 years. :P

What he means is, didn't France, Germany, Russia, etc, want to give the inspectors another 6 months or a year to continue looking, BEFORE we decided to quit "screwing the pooch"?

I dunno about any 6 months. The only period of time that strikes a bell when WMD's are mentioned is 12+ years.

That was how long ago they decided to "flip the bird" to the U.N. and the rest of the world, by not destroying their weapons then. Or you could look at it as the number of years murder and suffering took place under Saddam that did not have to happen.
