    HA HA

I could not tell you when they last time I sat down and read the paper! Besides the Columbus Disgrace (Dispatch) is rather worthless.

I just hope your not one of the people that go out and protest and will spit on soldiers when they come home from Iraq.

I certainly hope that comment was not aimed in my direction, otherwise you and I will have to have a looooong talk. I have nothing but greatest respect for our military and it is an honor to wear the uniform of this nation. Had it not been for type 1 diabetes, I would have been a Marine years ago. Yes, I do indeed support our mission in Iraq and have done so from the get go.

              Exactly.

If you want to go back in history to talk about past relationships, England shouldn't like us because we broke away with them. But, oh look, they seem to be one of our only allies now. Relationships change. Saying they never will doesn't help anything.

We subscribe to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, The Economist, Time, and Newsweek, all of which I usually read.

Most of those are free due to subscriptions to internet, skymiles redemption, etc.

Kudos to you, Herpa; I feel the same way. And while I'm behind the troops 100%, I'm against the reason for them being there. If we're in a war, whether it be worthless or of much need, I would rather have America win than lose. And those men and women in Iraq have a lot more courage than I do to go there, so I give them credit where it is due.

Barnier, who visited Washington last month, said relations should be based on "listening to each other, having a more regular dialogue and mutual respect."
Hey it's just like being married. Smart words of advice.

Because she already has lots of FINE, real fine books, that she could suggest to you. Covering not only Europe and the World but also the US.

Enough is enough guys! Crimany, I mean, maybe this is why nothing in the world ever gets done. As soon as someone admits their wrong, their critics jump all over them, instead of simply acknowledging the fault, saying "Water under the bridge" and move on. I mean, to put it bluntly, France has f'd up in foriegn relations, and guess what...the US has too. I'm as much of a diehard conservative as possible, but give it a break, France is acctually trying to work with us. If a form of bad blood happens in the future, let us argue over that, but not something that is acctually an attempt to make a positive influence.

Aldo, you know I'm a mac-using, Jeep-driving, red-white-and-blue conservative, but I'm asking you as a friend, chill out. These stupid one-liners really don't further your point. If you want to argue, wait for another issue which really has grounds to stand on. For right now, just relax.
                          It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand.
