The fastest speeds I've ever reached, according to the tachometer are:
269 km/h in a Cadillac XLR of all things (wasn't mine)
265 km/h in my old 911 Carrera 3.2 (sold it in November)
260 km/h in my old 944 S2 (sold it 3 years ago)

Well, since the traffic was still moving somewhat, it wasn't that bad, but with the snow-covered ground, it wasn't the best driving weather anyway. Next time I'm driving to Frankfurt I'll do it on a tuesday .
