Just trying to bring the whole conversation down to a level where the majority of people will be able to grasp the concept. Glad to see you are onboard now.

You bring up a good point though Greg. It's amazing how a single event can completely change the course of history, just as the assasination of Arch Duke Ferdinand. Tanuj, I agree that it's a shame how some fools would rather be disruptive than constructive, such clowns aren't worth your time. I know that I will no longer waste my time with such idiots.

            Here's another interesting one:

The Shah of Iran was toppled, he was a powerful pro-western leader who ruled a powerful and important country. But due to popular dissatisfaction towards his regime, he was overthrown in the Iranian Revolution. Then after that:

-Soviets invaded Afghanistan. This war wrecked Afghanistan as we can see today. This is also where Osama Bin Laden came in.
-Iraq attacked Iran. The US backed Iraq in the war and supplied them with chemical and biological weapons secrets. After the Iran-Iraq cease fire, Iraq turned to Kuwait a year later and launched an invasion. Gulf War. After their defeat and UN sanctions, the dislike that many Arabs had towards America was furthered (already caused by Israel).
-This led Osama Bin Laden to turn Al-Qaeda's activities towards attacking the US, previously it had only been to drive out the Soviets, until the Gulf War.
-Their vast arms and financial resources were also used to aid other terror groups.

A revolution in one country led to a chain of events which created so many problems today. Interesting thought isn't it.....

Yes it's nice to see constructive discussion instead of "Jeff make fun of everyone because he is not smart enough to talk logically".

Opinions are cheap. Most all of what I have read from you two is just that. I'll leave you guys to your day dreaming of a better world through your "can't we all just get along..?" ideals....

I walked across an empty land
I knew the pathway like the back of my hand
I felt the earth beneath my feet
Sat by the river and it made me complete
