Since the drivers here are such [email protected]^%&$s, I run my little winter car and laugh when someone slides into me.The last clown in a rice burner(Murano) gave himself several thousands in damage simply backing out of a stall and into my rear corner. Fool had to pay me out and fix his car. I have more than enough to buy a new car with cash, however, new vehicles (domestic and foreign) are for the most part glorified heaps of recycled plastic and pot metal not worth a fraction of what they are sold for.I'll stick with a good investment in old iron and keep the money in my wallet not on car payments!!!

My first car was an Opel Rekord, from the late '60s or so. I had it only for two weeks as it was a near wreck. After that I fell in love with Citroën for the next 20 years. Through those years I had:
1 x Citroën Dyane
3 x Citroën 2CV
1 x Citroën AZU200 (that's a 2CV van)
2 x Citroën Traction Avant 11B (a classic of the 40's and 50's)
1 x Citroën AcaDyane (a Dyane van)
1 x Citroën GS Break
1 x Citroën GS
1 x Citroën GSA.
For the last 8 years I drive a trusty 1987 Land Rover 90 Diesel. My wife bought a brand new Toyota Yaris 1.3 five months ago.

I had that addiction as well,
first a Citroën H-van (special plastic made)
former mobile bankoffice, so the workers
could get their money in cash on the building
sites at payday.
Then a load of Citroën DS.
Unfortunatly I still live in a ghetto so night demolition rallies stopped
the possibility to own such cars.

Ford makes a good truck, and they always have. It reflects in the sheer number of trucks they sell every year.
