    I'm using MAC OS 10.2.4 (haven't updated yet) on my iBook and 10.2.5 on the iMac at work. This after I took the liberty of pitching my Windows computer out of the window.

    After using both A and W extensively, I've discovered that Apple is the Mercedes of the computer and operating system industry, without the Mercedes price.

      That may be true...but compatibility is a problem with Macs...

          Pretty much all software is now available for Mac. Also, Macs immediatley recognize all Windows computers in an ethernet or WLAN network. Not really sure in which areas there still may be compatibility problems (unless you plan on recycling existing Windows software).
