    Any OS/platform can be vulnerable to a 'spoof', any that uses IP anyway. It's when an IP address is faked to gain access to a system. Say you have every IP blocked by your firewall except 123.123.123.123, one could try to forge the packets to say they originated at 123.123.123.123. It's a little more complex than that, but good enough

    Alot of firewalls that are setup with generic rules like Sygate; Kerio; Zone Alarm; and so on; can give false alarms under a few circumstances. I get them when I update some programs.
