Is this guy serious... Things work very differently in reality than they do on paper.
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

Really? I never would have guessed.

Maybe we should remove all subsidies from everything...in the name of capitalism.

Adding to Babypurin and Greg pertinating statements

This is not because we had Mitterand as pres for 14 years, that Socialism means French as you seems hinting it. In fact Socialism in Western European economies was long a stalwart of BRITISH LABOUR PARTY which revised its status in 1996 by abolishing the 1904 ruling stating that means of production are collective properties. Besides Karl Marx and Lenin did not picked up Paris as their favourite hang-out when in exile .....
By the way, who is adding civil servants on the USA payroll, GW Bush !

wannabepilot, forget school, electricity, roads, sewer, etc if you want to end subsidies. They don't make money and no body seems to be whining about that. If you want certain industries to be there you need to support them via tax.
