I bagged Christmas trees and trimmed them for customers at this tree place near my house that sprang up. Did it one season only though; tree sap is not fun!

I bussed tables at a restaurant for 3 days at age 15. Quit, then a year later was a cashier at K-Mart for 11 months, then worked at Sears Parts and Service for the rest of high school.

I didn't get my first job until after high school. I was a bagger at Kroger for about two and a half months, when I was fired (They claimed I quit). I needed to tweak my schedule one week for something at school I was doing, but the bitch that was the supervisor made out the schedule a month in advance without telling anyone (Any schedule requests were supposed to be submitted two weeks in advance, but with her doing the schedule so far in advance, none of us could submit any requests.). I try to call out and get told by her that if I didn't come in, I didn't have a job anymore. I couldn't get out of what I needed the night off for, as I was required to be there, so I didn't go in. I get a separation notice a few weeks later, and under the reason, she wrote "Left without notice." I talked to one of the store managers about this and he agreed that she had wrongly stated the reason for separation. I fought it not because I wanted unemployment (I had another job pretty much the next day, as I was getting ready to quit anyway.), but for the fact she lied.

I was 14 too. I worked at Burger King. Never eat there anymore. You shouldn't either.

My first job was working at the Mars Cheese Castle. Yes, I have heard every cheese joke imaginable.

Worked that job for about 4 summers.
