Cities worth visiting in Europe

Iceland would be nice to visit....or perhaps Rota, Spain...that way I could catch an AMC flight at no cost and hotel would be basically like $15 per night....kinda cheap vacation, just pay for public transportation.

I don't really care about going to a hostile area..I'm an american and I've traveled to areas where terrorist are very well known. But what kind of scary is that I'm going by myself instead of being in groups of 4 or 5. Thanks for the list...now time for some research.

Paris, a couple of day
Biarritz and San Sebastian for surfing
Madrid , a couple of days
