Grand Theft Auto: Vice City

I don't even wanna hear about San Andreas... I'm still on the Vice City (Miami) version of GTA, and it's continuing to kick my ass.


Anyone else a fan of this series? If so, perhaps you can share with me how to get past the "Guardian Angels" mission where you have to stop the Haitians?

...on the rare occassion swhere I can gun everyone down before Lance/Diaz get killed, I can NEVER chase the dude down and kill him in time. Any secrets or even cheat codes that you know might help here?

(PS. I know the white car is indestructable, but you cannot use it until the mission fails or is completed).

I cant stand San Andreas, PS2 controls suck. GTA 3 is quite good, but Vice city is better

According the EBgames.com, GTA:SA ships June 7, 2005. You can already preorder it as well ($49.99).

Vice City is great, my favorite is still GTA2. Not too long ago, I bought for the PC the GTA Classic Collection, which packages GTA, GTA London 1965 (You can download London 1969 from Rockstar), and GTA2 for $9.99. I got hooked on GTA2 on my old Dreamcast, that game kept me up many a night.....

I love all three of these games. I haven't beat any of them too 100 % but the closest i'm at is 92% on Vice city. The weird thing is I have a harder time with the xbox controls then I do the ps2 ( I have the double pack for xbox, all 3 games on ps2 and VC on PC...yea i'm pathetic.) I haven't even gotten to the second mission on PC because I can't get the controls down

Shoot everyone, tisnt that hard, try getting an uzi or so then jumping down and joining the fight, when chasing the bike, just do a foward driveby.


GTA 3 had the big step up from the others, but its harder to get the same big jump now.

For the time being I have to say Liberty City, being that I don't own SA yet. Liberty City was bigger and better than VC, with a better scenery, and not nearly as flat as VC (ok, I realise Florida is flat, but it still takes some fun away). Now if only LC had copter's and chopper's.

i just played VC out for the 5th time, and i came to realise that in LC you have to work really to get on the other islands, in VC, somewhere halfway you get the 2nd island.....I can't wait till SA on the PC!
