Well, it kind of ruins our respect for the french when they destroy a mock statue of liverty and a memorial to all those killed on 9/11.

I have been to France many, many times and I love their food (except for the snails and frog legs!) One of the best is tarte flambee, a type of pizza made in Alsace, with no sauce. It is very thin but very large, with covered with white cheese and toppings. It is kind of hard to explain, but trust me, it's good

As for the knocking down of the statue, its very easy to pick up on something like this and say 'look at how bad this country is' but we should try and remember that this is, as always, a tiny group of people and certainly not representative of the country as a whole.
The news is always full of stories in this fashion about the US and other countries, but they are no more valid as typical for the country in question than the above incident.I walked across an empty land
