When I was 19 working on the Ramp in Peterborough an "unchocked" airplane rolled down an incline and hit me. The antennae hit me going through my left eye, went through my nose (breaking it), went behind my right eye and came out by my right temple.

I worked with my younger brother and he helped get me off the airplane (he bent the antennae and pulled it out) and got another guy to rush me to the hospital.

umm....ouch. I guess bad luck is still luck eh?

hitting a tree after falling off a cliff, oriented me feet first going down the 30 foot slope at about 70 degrees, so i could slow myself down enough not to slide into the (realy bad)rapids below... and than the fact that i was able to climb out, seeing as i have no uper-body strenght in relation to my whight... realy kinda sceary...

Lucky thing was I was working with my brother who knew what to do and got me off to the hospital.

So do you have any injurys casued by this? (are you blind?)

The Toyota Corolla station wagon we were in was litterally pushed out of the road and into the surroundings by a mad trucker driving a Merc tractor pulling a trailer of woodtrunks ... The safety belts were not compulsory, but the Toyota had them in their extensive equipment list. We got the bright idea to put on them.

The place we crashed the Corolla SW was not far from a single lane bridge nicknamed "Le Pont de la MORT" (The bridge of Death). Once on it, just do one thing : PRESS THE GAS PEDAL and wish no "Grumier" (the crazy driven log-trailer) is showing up opposite !!! Routine : during the previous week a VW Microbus with 12 on board was litterally rammed by a grumier and sent to the river bed 30 feet below ....

I feel lucky everyday because of the friends I have. You never how long ur going to have them so cherish them while u do.

That and having the oppurtunity to goto Embry-Riddle and receive some of the best aviation training in the world. I know many can't do that so I feel very lucky having been able to do so.

Takeoff out of a local airport, 3,500ft of runway..... our engine blew a cyclinder at 300ft AGL, no runway left, and 75-100ft tree's on either side of the whole airport and runway...... at 1500 rpms, 3 people on board the warrior, and fuel at the tabs, we were at gross weight... the stall horn was going off and somehow we managed to do a downwind leg, and base leg, but on final the wings started to get shakey and the plane wanted to buffet.... well here comes the trees, dropped the flaps all at once and just cleared the tree's and stalled onto the runway..... upon shut down with the engine smoking like hell, we had about 2qt's of oil left in the engine...... connecting rod's bent like a pretzel, and the cyclinder split clean down the center in two.....

Scariest day of my life, wouldnt wish it upon my worst enemy.
