  • Weather in your area

In Oklahoma City today, it was a nice 66 for the high albeit a bit windy (30mph w/ gusts to 35). Yeah, that's just a little windy for these parts.

Our local CBS station showed a livecam shot of one of the sister affiliate's cams in Tulsa, and they were reporting small hail and snow when a storm passed over (yes, when it was 59 there) and I saw it myself when they showed the cam shot. There was some white stuff, which was small hail, and then other stuff floating around was snow! Pretty amazing weather, but then this is Oklahoma.

But last fridays weather was wierd...

Woke up to a snow storm... a bad pone then, it cleared and melted, then it was sunny, then it hailed, then there was a thunder storm then it was a clear sunny day?

          Snow?
          Hail?
          Thunder storm?
          clear and Sunny?
          All in one day?

Sounds like Texas weather to me!

Here in Dallas it's clear and 53F right now with calm winds. Later this evening we have a chance for severe storms with large hail!

                        THURSDAY AFTERNOON...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BUFFALO NY HAS ISSUED A WIND CHILL
ADVISORY AND A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH.

BRISK WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH TONIGHT WILL COMBINE WITH SUB ZERO
TEMPERATURES TO PRODUCE WIND CHILLS OF 20 TO 25 BELOW. THE
HAZARDOUS WIND CHILLS WILL IMPROVE WEDNESDAY MORNING AS THE
                        TEMPERATURES RISE.

COLD AIR MOVING ACROSS LAKE ONTARIO WILL GENERATE LAKE EFFECT SNOWS

THURSDAY...WITH SOME AREAS POSSIBLY ACCUMULATING AROUND A FOOT BY
THURSDAY AFTERNOON. THE HEAVIEST SNOWS ARE EXPECTED TO DRIFT SOUTH
OVER THE AREA THURSDAY NIGHT AND THEN BACK NORTH TOWARD WATERTOWN ON
THURSDAY. BRISK WINDS COMBINED WITH TEMPERATURES IN THE TEENS AND
SINGLE NUMBERS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE POOR VISIBILITY IN BLOWING AND
                        DRIFTING SNOW.

A WIND CHILL ADVISORY IS ISSUED WHEN STRONG WIND WILL COMBINE WITH
COLD TEMPERATURES TO CREATE DANGEROUSLY COLD CONDITIONS FOR EXPOSED
SKIN. THE WIND WILL MAKE IT FEEL LIKE IT IS 20 DEGREES BELOW ZERO OR
COLDER FOR A PERIOD OF SEVERAL HOURS. IF YOU WILL BE OUTDOORS USE
COMMON SENSE AND DRESS WARMLY...MAKING SURE THAT ALL EXPOSED SKIN IS
COVERED. IF POSSIBLE...AVOID PROLONGED EXPOSURE TO THE COLD TO
                        PREVENT FROSTBITE AND HYPOTHERMIA.

A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH MEANS THAT SIGNIFICANT WINTER WEATHER IS

We had the weirdest weather ever here today...

It started off at about 65 degrees this morning with some drizzle.
At around 8am, it began pouring and we got about a half inch of rain between then and 11am.
At 11 it began to snow and the wind picked up to about 30mph.
It snowed nonstop until about 2pm. We got about an inch or so.
Right now(3:22est), all the snow has melted and its about 45 with sunny skies.

                          Only in Williamsburg...
