  • A few thoughts on Life

    Add some to the list.........

Winners do what losers don't want to.
An apology is a good way to have the last word.
An optimist invented the airplane. A pessimist invented the parachute.
A man who wishes to conduct the orchestra must turn his back to the crowd. :P
Some minds are like concrete -- all mixed up & permanently set.
Don't sweat petty things.......or pet sweaty things.

I'd just like to add my input.

"An optimist invented the airplane, a realist invented the parachute"

"Accepting the apology is a better way to have the last word"

"A man who wishes to conduct the orchestra doesn't really have much of a choice"
"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

For every action, there is an equal and opposite government program.

Our character is measured by what we do when no one is looking.

Bills travel through the mail at twice the speed of checks.

The secret of success is to start from scratch and keep on scratching.

It's not whether you win or lose, but how you place the blame.

In a twin engine plane, once you lose an engine, the remaining engine usually has just enough power to get you to the crash site.

Safery statistics are like a bikini: what they reveal is interesting, what they cover is vital.

A novice pilot's enemy is inexperience, and an experienced pilot's enemy is pride.

It's all fun and games until someone loses an eye; then it's pretty funny.

Even the best-laid plans to get laid, may not get you laid as you planned.

One may see the glass as half-empty, another as half-full; I just see it as another dish to wash.
