Well, unless you work airside. But it's like that pretty much everywhere security exists.

Back in the time the airline industry was in good shape.
Back in the time when one could take pictures without being a suspect due to that.
Back in the time you could easily have a jumpride

And when you are taken aside at security every time you fly in the U.S. just because you have a foreign passport...

My dang belt-buckle set off the metal detector at Vancouver. And it's not one of those giant belt-buckle things with pictures of Texas on them. It probably has about as much metal as a thumbtack. Combine that and a very stressful morning...not a good mix

The thing I hate most is rude TSA guards. Snow had delayed us in DCA on our way to SIN, so we were late for our connection through EWR. At EWR, there was ONE LANE of security open, and the powermonger TSA guard was lecturing a Japanese girl for about *seriously* five minutes (in Engligh which she incidentally didn't seem to understand) about - get this - what order she should put things in on the conveyer belt! Too bad we were running for our flight!

TSA is moronic and inefficent. It is suppose to be more secure but when they are laying off people you know they aren't going to accomplish anything more. Give it back to the private security firms. they were better. (in my expirences)

              (can't spell today, sorry Amy)

I'd go back to the days when the only thing I had to worry about was what my friends and I were doing after school.

Saturday morning cartoons weren't 30-minute ads for action figures.

Taking drugs meant orange-flavored chewable aspirin.

You can if you have an earpiece and they can't see you. Jeff is correct, you can receive but not transmit.
