Embry Riddle is like unprotected sex. At first you're glad you got in, but after a while you're sorry you came.
    I just noticed that...LMAO!

I really question whether or not they'd be able to get to you in time though. If you had a fast enough plane and stayed close enough to the ground that radar couldn't pick you up easily you could get in there before they knew what was happening. The only people that would get intercepted are the ones that didn't know they were doin something wrong and aren't goin all that fast

If you have a fast enough plane you could still get in there and do some damage, but all they do is keep those of us that actually follow the rules from where we need to go.

You can use any gun for hunting ducks, it may not be too effective, but you can still use it...

Any made for the sole purpose of killing someone yes. But I need my butter knife for morning toast.

Although what this kid did was absolutely horrible and in no way justified, I can see why HE could think he could justify it. I (and probably a fair number of others here) have gone through quite the gauntlet of torment in school. Every day, without fail, some damned group of jocks, each with their own cheerleader girlfriend, will say something along the lines of 'Hey Joe, how's it goin, cool cat?', then laugh at me as I walk by, or even better, flip the whole group of 'em off and tell 'em to f*ck 'emselves. After a while, it really wears on you, particularly if you haven't got anybody else outside of school to turn to. I'm fortunate enough to have joined a wonderful organization - a bowling league - that's given me a fair number of people who'll support me when I go through some tough times. In fact, if it wasn't for two things - bowling and flying - I'd have no friends at all. But since I'm involved in both, I've got a good number of friends...most of them not entirely close, but a few of 'em (and if, for some reason, they're ever reading this, you know who you are) are the best friends that anybody could ever ask for. This kid probably had the same school situation as me, but had no other options besides that, and thus decided to take the path that he did...

    My two cents...

Even if you're bullied now, if you get out of school and work for an airline, all your old friends/bullies will be jealous. Trust me.

Actually, a large number of gun deaths are accidents.

I heard the same thing. Pretty unusual too, considering the kid was a Native American (Indian). That would be like a black man joining the KKK, just doesn't make sense...
