Personally, if it's been determined that Terry's chance of recovering is slimmer than the Olsen twins, then keeping her alive is just a waste taxpayer money.
I know it's a good thing that people don't give up their hopes, there are times when they should look at the wider effects of their "stubbornness".

The parent's latest appeal, which opens with the sentence, "This is a mercy killing case," asks the court to order the Florida hospice where Terri Schiavo is staying to immediately transport her by ambulance to a hospital for medical treatment to sustain her life.
