  • How do you turn off the sound when you click the mouse?

Okay... by default whenever you click somewhere, a sound comes that's really starting to annoy me. Does anyone know how to make it stop?

The clicking sound? That's a mechanical sound from the mouse...

Otherwise my mouse makes no sound.

Throw the mouse in the bin and get a book to entertain yourself.

Start -> Control Panel -> Printers and Other Hardware -> Mouse -> Others

When you click "mouse", the mouse properties dialog box will come up. Select the "others" tab, and deselect the "use sound" checkbox. That should work.
