I love taxes when I get a refund, despise them when I have to pay. Right now, I despise them. I have to pay the Feds $194 and the State of Georgia $14. The $14 I could care less about; it's that $194 that really sucks. I can pay it without creating any financial problems for myself, I just hate having to pay.

$3000+ back, can't beat that. Itemize the hell outta things, be married, have kids, own a home, rent out another home you own, and take some other deductions.

Before all of you are sooo happy to get a refund in any amount, realise that it's actually your money in the first place. The government just took it and they're giving it back now....or that's true according to my US History teacher.

Here in Denmark, they take from 40% up to 50% of your paycheck.... that's our taxes... they're such sweet people =/

and just adding more into it, the more you earn, the more money they take away from you . its bad...man !!! lol ..

i once got told by an american tourist, " quoted " = well in the states. its the opposite way they do it, " they more you make, the less they take ....!!!

can anyone confirm this.. if its true Im moving ..you know where .. !! no im kidding .......DENMARK IS A GREAT COUNTRY, BUT the TAXES ARE NOT ...... !!!

then again, we don't pay for medical treatment , everyone has a home unless they have chosen to be on the street themselves (they have all been offered an apartment) and we have so many benefits. But it's still a lot of money to take, I agree

I've talked to quite a few homeless people and they told me this... I have yet not come across a Danish homeless man/woman who hasn't chosen their life as a homeless themself
