"The Director also sets the record straight on what would happen if oxygen masks were to drop from the ceiling: The passengers freak out with abandon, instead of continuing to chat amiably, as though lunch were being served, like they do on those in-flight safety videos."

        $0.17 or $0.0017??

You can buy 5 Swedish fish gummies at the deli for 17 cents.

For .17 cents, I dunno. I know paper is sold in bulk for extremely low prices so maybe a sheet of paper.

I was wondering where the heck you were going with this.
$5 seems like a good number until you divide it by 30 and see what it costs a day.

I think I throw more pennies at the ducks in the canal every day than the 17 cents it costs me to be FC at A.net :P

                    That's about 8 INdian rupees (47 Rs=1 dollar last I checked...correect me if I am wrong!)

Toffees are 50 paise each. SO you can get 16 pieces of candy!!!

IN America.... you can get parking for 10 minutes, buy lemonade from an underpriced vendor, as well as give it to the poor!

This applies to all countries: 17 cents a day gives you First Class Membership on A.net!

At 17 cents per day the First Class Memembership on Airliners.net adds up to $62.05 a year. That is in US dollars.
