A FedEx 727 captain? This is sad coming from an individual who's supposed to be a professional.

Viva UPS!

So what are you saying? That all airline pilots (or professionals in general for that matter) have to be serious all the time? Get real.

No, but I would expect an airline captain to act like a 14 year old kid. There's a difference between having some fun and acting like an immature kid.

What is it about Plane Spotters that guts them of any humor?

Why do they take themselves soooooooooo seriously?

I think anyone who runs around looking at planes is acting like a 14 yr. old kid.

Truth is I think most Plane Spotters need a hobby.

Ever fly a kite?

Ummm I believe most of the people here like to look at planes probably Chris included..
And in case you forgot your on a website which has pictures of those flying things called airplanes, in order to take some photos the photographers had to "stop" the planes right????????????
And your a pilot??
I find that hard to swallow.

Plane Spotted

I prefer acting like a 14 years old kid and catching a cold while spotting planes instead of being mature and sitting at home in front of the TV with a can of Budís and a cigarette and getting lung cancer.

And I am even more sick and childish: After seeing 1000s of aircraft taking off from 36L @Beijing Capital Airport, I still think itís a miracle that these beasts fly (and Iíve seen everything from C172 to An225 here).

Aaaand...yes: I have some other hobbies.
