  • Macro is fun

So, ive been playing around with some macro shots lately, i had also posted this pic as an example in one of the other topics (aviation topics) but I figured since a lot of people proabably dont take a look at that and i would like to see other peoples macro shots, I know Paul had one a while back. Anyway here is one of mine, again original just resized for the forums.

    Lets see everyone elses!

This is the closest thing to a macro photo for me

first of all, you suck for making me go through all my pictures and resize them because I got sidetracked and my dinner got cold. But here they are.

I've never really experimented with the macro on my camera, but I gave it a try:

I may have to start doing more of these, it's kind of neat.

is macro when you take something really small up close and the result is a much larger version of that object? That is what im assuming from these pictures. Ill give it a try tonite and post some pics to see if I am doing it right

                          Philip,

All of the photos above were taken with the Canon EF 18-55mm F/3.5-5.6 kit lens on the end of the Canon 300D.

It's quite suprising what you can do with that lens!
