  • How are shooting scenes so realistic?

With movies such as Saving Private Ryan and Schindler's List you can't help but admire the accurancy of a death by shot sequence.

One instance was a man got shot in front of a wall. You could see the bullet's trajectory through the man and into the wall, his body accurately reacted after being shot, along with the blood spray given the type of bullet, angle bullet was fired from etc.

Seems there's a bit of a science to this, and it involves more than a simple packet of Imitation blood.

Does anyone know much about how it all works? cheers

I'm sure a good amount of CGI went into it as well.

You might want to search on google as to what they do to make it look so realistic.

Just cos I look into certain things, doesn't make me a weirdo. I apoligise that I thought outside the square, thought about things outside of aviation.

There's no harm in wanting to know how a t.v works instead of just watching it.

I saw a guy get shot once and it never looked like the shooting you see in movies.
