  • Car Accident

Today I experenced something I hope to never experence again. I was in the car (passenger seat) with my grandma driving and my two cousins in the back seat. We had a green light and were driving though the intersection and I was looking down but I heard my grandma yell "OH MY GOD" and all I remember is the car hitting my door and the windshield gave out and I was covered in glass and my window gave out as well and I was bleeding very badly. I have bruses all over my body from the airbag. I also blacked out but I could like hear voices saying "Get the driver and passenger out of the car NOW" and I remember them saying "You need to get away from the car now" And I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where I had to get the glass removed and I have stiches all over my body. I was the only one hurt badly, beacuse since my door was hit, I couldent get out, everybody else could.

It was not our fault. The other driver illegially turned left and ran a red light. The guy had his liscense suspended for one year and has to pay the damages to our car...the only issue is it is damaged so badly it cannot be fixed at all.

I am in a lot of pain right now, I have bruses all over, let me tell you, airbags HURT. We don't know what to do now...I can't drive for two months.

WOW, I feel so bad for you..
Luckily I have never experienced anything like this.....I hope you get better soon!

You can recover in Arizona Hope everything works out with your car too.

That driver of the other car, i mean how much of an idiot do you have to be to know not to run a red light?!?!

Good thing he has to pay for everything, take him to the cleaners! Sue him for everything he has.

I don't know if we are going to sue him. He has to pay for the hospital and such and the scene damage. He is also getting his liscense suspended and we have to figure out what to do. Also, he was driving an escalade.

How did you find all that out on the same day as your accident? Sorry, but I find that hard to believe.

When my dad had an accident he was told that the guy who hit him would be suspended for license and that hed pay for tow truck and such, and i even think he'd be arrested because he was leaving the scene of the crime. my dad was told all that in the same day. so i believe patrick.

Because the police told my cousins. I'm fine now. I just have bruses and I was filled in on all this over the phone. It happened like 5 hours ago.

Bad experience you've had there, airbags are much better there and to hurt you by the way otherwise you'd end up on the otherside of that windscreen and maybe not so lucky..

Hey man glad to hear you're all right! I hope you recover soon! (Think of a nice beach in the Caribbean where planes fly right over....SXM....the three magical letters)

Sucks for that guy and his Escalade...oh well though, his fault, his problem.

Man, that sucks, I hate it when someone who's grossly irresponsible does something like that. Anyway, glad to know you're getting better.

That really sucks. I hope for a speedy recovery BTW, stitches really hurt when they are taken out. I passed out when I got all 100 to 200 or so taken out.

Thanks for the heads up, but I've had them taken out before and it's not fun. Thanks for caring though, everybody!
